I was reflecting on what might help stop the momentum of melancholy and overthinking, a subject that always intrigues me.

I realized that music has been a significant part of my life. From a young age, I’ve been immersed in various genres. My brother, incredibly talented in music with perfect pitch, would play everything from rock, pop, R&B  to blues and jazz. Constantly and tirelessly, he practiced the lyrics and melodies. I often listened to him recite the lyrics to see if he remembered everything correctly, secretly savoring each of his small improvements. Through his influence, my musical taste was shaped. He taught me to appreciate good music, quality lyrics, and melodies that move you and warm your heart.

With this in mind, I created a playlist for those slower days when I need peace. Whether I’m reading, taking a bath, cooking dinner with my husband while chatting about our day, or simply feeling melancholic and sad, this playlist brings comfort. I want you to remember that it’s okay to take a break if your body and mind ask for it. Just do it at your own pace—don’t stop abruptly, but gently sink in and let go. It took me a long time to understand that we need to allow all emotions to pass through us, and that this is the only way to truly navigate through tough times.

 Tonovi za neke sporije dane

Razmisljala sam sta bi to moglo da pomogne u zaustavljanju tog momentuma  melanholije i prekomernog razmisljanja, cija tema (i resenje) me uvek zanima.

Shvatila sam da je veliki deo mog zivota muzika. Zapravo od malih nogu ja slusam razne zanrove, kako mi je brat bio strasno talentovan za muziku i apsolutni sluhista, on je zaista pustao sve od Silvane do Nirvane. Kontantno i neumorno je uvezbavao tekstove i melodiju. Cesto sam ga preslusavala tekstove, da li je dobro sve upamtio, i potajno uzivala u svakom njegovom malom napretku. Tako je pod uticajem njega i moj muzicki ukus stvoren. Naucio me je da volim dobru muziku. Kvalitetne tekstove. Melodiju koja te pokrene i ugreje ti srce.

Bas zato sam sam stvorila playlistu za neke sporije dane. Kada mi treba mir i recimo dok citam, kupam se, pravim veceru sa muzem, uz obavezno brbljanje kakav nam je bio dan, ili me prosto uhvati neka melanholija i tuga. I zelim vam da upamtite ovakve dane, da ako vam telo i organizam kaze da stanete ili da odmorite, to je sasvim u redu ali uradite to u svom ritmu. Ne naglo, zakociti, nego lagano utonite i prepustite se.

Dosta dugo vremena mi je trebalo da shvatim kako sve emocije trebamo da dopustimo da prodju kroz nas i da je to jedini nacin da zapravo prebrodimo tu krizu.
