
Transition periods, such as the beginning and end of the new year, according to psychology, present the best opportunity for setting and achieving significant goals. It’s a time when we pause to truly reflect on what we’ve done and where we’re heading.
However, what I believe is crucial are the tools that I don’t see many people recommending. Moreover, these tools should genuinely aim to improve our health, emotional well-being, develop mental agility, and make us genuinely interested in life. That’s how this blog came about – tools that have served me and will inspire you in 2024.
1. The Five-Minute Journal (Intelligent Change): A Gratitude Journal. If, like me, you always crave more and seldom find contentment in the present, yet struggle to stop and be grateful, this is fantastic! This journal is a simple technique promoting positive thinking based on gratitude. Users daily jot down brief entries about things they are grateful for. Even on a seemingly gloomy day, you’ll realize you have at least three things that warm your heart. Whether it’s someone at home welcoming you with a warm hug, having the best coffee of the day, receiving praise from your boss (or realizing from a toxic critique that it’s time for a job change), your pet is doing well, a friend sent you a New Year’s gift, or someone at the store smiled and handed you that toothpaste… at the end of the day, you have a few things on your list, no matter how seemingly trivial. This is done for quick and efficient reflection to help us progress. It genuinely helped me in a dark period of life, so I highly recommend it.



2. Spotify: Almost everyone has heard of and uses Spotify, but here I want to focus on the countless quality podcasts you can listen to while doing many other activities in parallel, like going for a walk, baking, cleaning, morning/evening routine, etc. There are, of course, free options, but you may feel that ads interrupt your train of thought. My choice was to subscribe monthly because I believe money invested in knowledge and experiences is money well spent. Here are some podcasts I listen to: The Mel Robbins Podcast, The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett, Move With Heart with Melissa Wood-Tepperberg.
3. Newsletters! A quick and free way to read useful material that will also inspire you. You truly never know which sentence or message will bring that “aha” moment! I personally recommend James Clear’s 3-2-1 Newsletter, author of Atomic Habits. It includes 3 short ideas from the author, 2 quotes from others, and 1 question for you to ponder. 4. Goodreads: In one word, this is a platform for book lovers. It allows you to track books you’ve read, set goals for how many books you want to read, read reviews, get recommendations, and connect with friends. 5. Pacer: An excellent step-tracking app that’s also free! Since we all carry our phones with us all the time, there’s no need to spend a fortune on smartwatches when we can be practical. Just download it to your phone, enter how many km you want to walk per day, and what your goal is. After that, you don’t need to open it again—I always turn off notifications, so I only check when I want to see how many steps I’ve taken, and it serves as a reminder to go for a walk. Here, the focus is on health and how important walking actually is. I’m currently reading an interesting study on that topic, and I’ll share more about the benefits of walking in the next posts.

5 Prakticnih alata koji ce vas inspirisati u 2024
Tranzicioni periodi poput pocetka i kraja nove godine, prema psihologiji, su najbolja prilika za postavljanja i ostvarivanje znacajnih ciljeva. Tu stanemo i zaista razmislimo sta smo uradili i gde idemo.
Medjutim, sta mislim da je bitno jesu alati koje ne vidim da neko preporucuje. I pritom, da to zaista budu alati koji ce ciljati da unaprede nase zdravlje, emotivnu dobrobit, razvijati mentalnu gipkost i ciniti nas zainteresovanim za zivot. Tako smo i dosli do ovog bloga, alati koji su meni sluzili i koji ce vas inspirisati u 2024.
1.The five min journal (Intelegent Change): Dnevnik Zahvalnosti. Ako ste kao ja, uvek i zauvek zelite vise i retko kada ste zadovoljni trenutnim, a opet, ne znate kako da stanete i budete zahvalni, ovo je fantasticna stvar! Ovaj dnevnik predstavlja jednostavnu tehniku koja promovise pozitivno razmisljanje i bazira se na zahvalnosti. Korisnici svakodnevno beleze kratke zapise o stvarima za koje su zahvalni, i zaista vidite da u tom jako sivom danu, imate bar tri stvari koje ce vam ugrejati srce. Imate nekoga kod kuce da vas doceka u topli zagrljaj, popili ste najbolju kafu tog dana, vas sef vas je pohvalio (ili ste shvatili bas iz te toksicne kritike koliko morate da menjate posao), imate kucnog ljubimca kojem je bolje, prijatelj vam je poslao poklon za Novu Godinu…neko vam se u prodavnici nasmejao i dohvatio tu pastu za zube…znate da na kraju dana imate bar tih nekoliko stvari, ma koliko vam se cinilo bezbacajnim. A sve to radimo u cilju brze i efikasne refleksije koja ce nam pomoci da napredujemo. Meni je zaista jako pomoglo u mracnom periodu zivota i zato preporucujem.



2.Spotify: Ne postoji verovatno osoba koja nije cula i ne koristi Spotify. Medjutim, ovde zelim da se osvrnete na bezbroj kvalitetnih podkasta koje mozete slusati i to paralelno radeci druge aktivnosti, poput odlaska u setnju, pravljena rucka, cisnjenja, jutarnje ili vecernje rutine, itd. Postoje naravno i besplatni, ali imacete utisak da ce vam reklame svako malo prekidati tok misli. Moj izbor je bio da uplatim mesecnu pretplatu, jer verujem da novac ulozen u znanje i iskustva je najbolje ulozen novac. Evo nekih od pregloga koje ja slusam na engleskom: The Mel Robbins Podcast, The Diary of a Ceo with Steven Bartlett, Move With Heart with Melissa Wood-Tepperberg i mislim da su fantasticni sledeci na srpskom: Ja, Preduzetnik ( Đordje Petrovic), Biznis Price (Vladimir Stankovic) i Senzal Insights (Rade Rakocevic).
3.Newsletters! Zaista brz i besplatan nacin da procitate korisno stivo. A pritom ce vas i inspirisati, jer zaista nikada ne znate koja tacno recenica ili poruka ce vam doneti bas tu “eureku”! 4.Goodreads: Jednom recju, ovo je patforma za ljubitelje knjiga. Omogucava vam pracenje procitanjih knjiga, postavljanje ciljeva u smislu koliko zelite knjiga da procitate, citanje recenzija, dobijanje preporuka i povezivanje s prijateljima. 5.Pacer: Odlicna aplikacija za pracenje koraka a pri tom i besplatna! Jer mi svi zaista telefon nosimo stalno uz sebe i nema potrebe da dajemo silne pare na pametne satove kada mozemo biti prakticni. Samo je downloadujte na svoj telefon, unesete koliko km zelite da predjete na dan i koji vam je cilj. Nakon toga ne morate vise ni da otvorite, ja iskljucim notifikacije uvek, tako da udjem samo kada zelim da proverim koliko koraka sam napravila i to mi bude alarm da moram da izadjem u setnju. Ovde je prioritet na zdravlju i koliko je setnja zapravo bitna. Citam trenutno jedno zanimljivo istrazivanje bas na tu temu, a vise o benefitima setnje cu podeliti u sledecim postovima.
