I’ve always held onto the heartfelt dream of being part of a book club, where each month unfolds new worlds through carefully chosen books. Picture us, savoring the warmth of a cup of coffee or tea, passionately sharing our thoughts on the latest reads and diving into engaging discussions. Though this dream has yet to weave itself into my reality, my heart longs to create such a community right here on the blog. I extend a sincere invitation for you to join me in shaping our own enchanting realm of books—a haven where fresh ideas and lively conversations infuse our community with a profound sense of connection and energy that resonates within us. Until then, I’ll eagerly pour my thoughts into sharing the magic of the books I’ve discovered. Let’s wholeheartedly open this book club together—welcome to our literary sanctuary! 🙂
1. Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi (rate 10/10): Imagine a café in Tokyo where you can time travel. But there are rules: they must sit in a specific seat, can’t leave the café, and must return before their coffee cools. This beautiful story by Toshikazu Kawaguchi asks a timeless question: if you could travel back in time, who would you want to meet again? Very warm, cozy, nostalgic and emotional story.
2. The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson ( rate 7.5/10): The story revolves around the incredible Allan Karlsson, a centenarian who refuses to let age define him. The way Jonasson weaves humor and satire is truly remarkable, making this novel the perfect choice for those who crave a perfect blend of entertainment and thought-provoking storytelling. If you’re in the mood for a heartwarming and side-splitting tale that celebrates the undying spirit of a 100-year-old adventurer, I encourage you to pick up this book.

3. “Sophie’s Choice” by William Styron ( rate 10/10): Within these pages, we are invited into the world of Sophie, a Polish immigrant who becomes an unwitting witness to the teryfing event of World War II. It’s a testament to the strength of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable horror and fear. Be prepared to be moved, to cry, to feel this story deep in your soul and question yourslef what would you do as you will remember Sophie’s choice long after the final page is turned.
4. “Atomic Habits” by James Clear (rate 10/10) : Clear introduces the concept of “atomic habits,” underscoring the profound influence of small, consistent actions on our identity and ultimate achievements. Through insightful perspectives and actionable strategies, the book demystifies the science of habits, encouraging readers to embark on a journey of ongoing self-improvement. It’s not just a guide to habit transformation but an uplifting resource that encourages a positive and enduring route to personal growth and satisfaction.

Oduvek sam sanjarila o tome da budem deo nekog book club-a, gde bismo svakog meseca zajedno istrazivali nove svetove kroz odabrane knjige, uzivali u solji kafe ili caja, a potom odusevljeno razmenjivali utiske i nove teme.
Iako ta zamisao jos uvek nije postalo deo mog zivota, zelela bih da stvorim takvu druzinu ovde na blogu. Pozivam vas da zajedno kreiramo nas mali svet knjiga, gde ce ideje za nove naslove i uzbudljive diskusije stvarati neku divnu zajednicu i energiju koja nas ispunjava. Do tada, rado cu deliti svoje utiske o procitanim knjigama.
Veoma topla, ususkana, nostalgicna i emotivna prica i moja najtoplija preporuka. A ja vec znam koga bih htela da vidim.
